Hello folks from your newly-23-year-old bloggerfriend. The weather’s perfect (sunny and warm and dry) and Joe made me breakfast in bed (toast and eggs with thyme and pumpkin pie spice…just like I like ‘em!), went out to turn in our rent check and even brought me back a coffee from Unseen Bean. All I had to do was stay in bed and read a New Yorker article about stoves for the third world.

Then we went to Bart’s CD Cellar to buy cheap stuff since they’re closing, sadly. It was pretty picked-over, so Joe got one CD (REM) and bought me a $1.40 copy of New York Minute as a second birthday gift, since we bought each other the same thing for Christmas and my birthday  (Season 2 of Psych) !

It’s great to be back in Boulder. The light snow looks beautiful on the mountains, and it’s fun to be tucked away here in the little village. It’s also nice to live in my own space that I pay for.

Last month was amazing, however, and though I was too busy to take many photos or let anyone know about the fun I was having, I do have a few pics that I never showed you.

Here are those creepy photos of Craig and Devin at the Blue Door.

Here’s a tribute to the beautiful ratties I got to play with while I was home: Cheezus, Ratsputin, Oliver and (my fave) Otto. It also commemorates the beautiful Louie, who is now no longer with us, though we loved him so.

Here's my Christmas present from Josie
